"If You're Feeling Sinister" by Belle&Sebastian
I want this. Yes, my love does cost a thing (or everything you've got).

"I'll Do Anything" by Jason Mraz
I can't believe I'm sick again. The student health center said that it is probably another virus. I just recovered from being sick last weekend! Isn't there some type of refractory period in which my body is not allowed to activate another virus??

"Sexyplexy" by Jack Johnson
The more I sleep, the more tired I am. So it's like, midterm season or something like that - and I'm not going crazy. Most of the classes I'm taking don't have midterms. Just one in Human Physiology - on Halloween. The sick thing is that I'm really enjoying Human Physiology - and I remember a lot from AP Biology last year...I can't believe I learned last year.So I can't exactly say that the reason I update so sporadically now is because of a crappy internet connection, or because of midterm stress, or because of sheer laziness. It's the fact that I'm having too much fun. It's like this Daniel Johns (of Silverchair) quote many moons ago: "I only write when I'm depressed. When I'm happy, I want to be out there living my life."
That pretty much wraps it up. I'm not feeling too introspective or depressed - and I realized that unconciously, I've let go of all the things that have made me introspective and/or depressed. It's interesting that a complete change of lifestyle - a completely new ocean to swim in, if you will - helps you see some people for who they really are.
I have to say that there was no delusion or disillusion about the prospect of my college experience - I'm having the best time of my life. I love it. I've never been happier. And that, is the truth.

"Absolutely Zero" by Jason Mraz

Still in concert sex afterglow. My friends here are so awesome...they are so adventurous and spontaneous and patient and fun - I love them so much already, and I've only been here a month! We went to one amazing Jason Mraz show. I almost lost my $400 digital camera, and we were almost stranded in a ghetto ricetown. But it was so worth it :) Everything is beautiful - who's to say this situation isn't great?
P.S. Jason Mraz doesn't wear underpants. Now we know that for a fact.

"We're Going To Be Friends" (covered) by Jack Johnson
I've been popping pills like an addict, I'm crazy sick, crazy tired, and crazy crazy. Fallfest was pretty rad yesterday - I slept through Blackalicious (that's how sick I am), but MxPx rocked your mom live. We left before J5 because I'm sure I would have slept through them as well. I've never seen this many white surburban kids on a floor at one time. It's kind of scary. Tonight, Jack Johnson was awesome - we were freakishly close due to the neuroticism of one of my suitemates. He really is incredible live. He did the cutest cover of The White Stripes' "We're Going To Be Friends".
P.S. Am in state of teenybopperesque excitement!

"Love Song For No One" by John Mayer
So my housemate gives me a piggy back ride back into my suite, and there are sex noises coming from one of my suitemate's rooms. Now there is a naked man in my other suitemate's room. And I'm sitting here with a cold I got from a boy I didn't even kiss yet, and "Love Song For No One" on WinAmp.

"Bright Eyes" by Jason Mraz
If I were a cow, I'd like my hide to be made into Tiffany's pouches. There is no sense in dying to become something tasteless. Like everything in Forever 21.

"You're Just A Baby" by Belle & Sebastian
I'm making a college quote journal, because the people who live with me are just too damn funny not to be put into a book. Here are just a few of my favorites:
(To Nam) "Are you named after your country?" - Jin
"Tyra Banks is the one who started it all - she is blackalicious!" - Tim
(On the girl he's seeing) "She's kind of a lemur." - Danny

"You & I Both" by Jason Mraz
Tonight was a beautiful night: I'd say it's either the first night of the rest of my life - or one of the best nights I've had in a long time. One of our friends' older sister (who is now a fourth year here) drove us around the city and showed us all the awesome little nooks and crannies. I think I'm in love with a new city - and get this, I HEARD JASON MRAZ ON THE RADIO!!!! THEY PLAYED JASON MRAZ ON THE RADIO! I was such a geek, I acted like a twelve year old teenybopper getting a first listen to the new *N Sync single. All my hangups about coming here have totally flown out the window. They've technically flown out the window since day one - I simply love it here. Tonight was more of an affirmation. I'm about to implode from excitement that I get to live here for the next four years. I'm so much happier in college - and I think it's very obvious in my everyday demeanor.
The internet has been kind of shady here, but I'll do the best I can in terms of updates. Nothing peeves me more than a waste of good webspace.
Lately I've been looking for some good quotes to live by. Anyone have any to share?
