"Better" by Jason Mraz
Okay so storytime:I was in my Theater Acting class yesterday, and we were sitting in a circle doing introductions basically. There was this one boy in a plaid blue button up shirt and chin ring, and he said:
"Legally Blonde changed my life."
And that kids, is when your grandma met her soulmate. (If only that didn't make it flamingly obvious).

I love love love that song. I love singing and dancing to it, and I do it without shame. In front of people - some I know, some I don't. At work. On my way out. On my way in. In the shower. At home. In my room. In my car. I love it.I also love: Jason Mraz: Waiting For My Rocket To Come coming October 15!!!!!!!!! That means you're going to go get it too, right?
5 days left, and I'm really scared. aldskfjasldhf.

"The Nearness of You" by Norah Jones
I had chocolate for breakfast. Let me tell you, it was delicious. And I'm not easy to please when it comes to chocolate. Nothing irks me more than the promise of a good chocolate gone to crap.

"Hey Love" by Jason Mraz
Here's the thing about not working, and generally lacking any kind of activity besides socializing and cleaning during the week: I keep spending all the money I made. The thing is, all summer I didn't do much shopping (okay, maybe didn't do as much shopping) because all my time was consumed by my job. Now that I'm given two weeks before moving in to dispose at my leisure, I'm finding that I'm really disposing my gold card at my leisure - and with it, my tediously saved bank account. I don't understand how the majority of my friends managed all summer: I'm going out of my mind from boredom in the one week I've been without job. And that includes seeing my friends everyday, shopping around for and buying a new computer, building a strong relationship with my telephone, and running endless errands.

Just thought I'd make it clear (my stance on American Idol of course): I really really really hope Kelly wins. Not that I have anything against Justin - I just love that girl!

Number of earthquakes/aftershocks within the last 12 hours: 3I'm convinced that either a) the earth is trying to swallow me up or b) the time for LA to become an island independent from California (and hence, rest of the country) has finally come.
It's obscenely hot.

"Curbside Prophet" by Jason Mraz
In honor of Labor Day, I refuse to provide any labor. I'm calling in again.I'm going to start cleaning and packing, and return my roommate's phone calls. That already sounds like a full day to me. Now to muse over what to pack what to pack what to pack?

"Seven Years" by Norah Jones
I'm never working again.Or at least, I thought so with determination before I got home tonight. I'm calling in tomorrow, I cannot spend another day on my feet, answering the same damn questions over and over again. If I ever see the letter D in that specific script again, I'm going to scream.
And then I got my credit card bill. So...back to work after Labor Day, I suppose.
Now for some non sequiturs!
I bought Norah Jones's Come Away With Me today, and it's just so damn beautiful. It makes me feel like a girl.
Distance and time are heartbreakers.
My roommate and I are playing phone tag.
My mom thinks I'm finally growing up.
When I really just want to roll up in a queen sized down comforter and sleep to dream.
Holy moly, it's September! That means, 20 days until I move! Henceforth, distance and time are heartbreakers.
