Hydrochoerus hydrochaeris

The capybara is the largest living rodent - growing up to four feet long and weighing up to 400 pounds - and are found in the wild in South America. They are excellent swimmers and can hold their breath underwater for up to five minutes. Capybaras are herbivores and graze like cows, regurgitating and re-chewing their cud. Also, they are coprophagous, meaning they eat their own feces to extract maximum benefit from their food.
They're also just really damn cute.Labels: art school confidential, drawings
